Day 5 – Petal Palette Showcase – Gift Tags

For a full tutorial, head over to my YouTube Channel – even better subscribe so your alerted to the new projects I cover.

This is the fifth project in the “Petal Palette Showcase” which shows you a different project every day for the month of June using only the Petal Palette Stamp Set & Petals & More Thinlits. I would recommend this project for a intermediate, as you need the big shot to create it, however the techniques are very easy, and the finish is so sophisticated.

The dimensions & equipment used are as follows:

2 x Card Base – measuring 2″ x 4″ – I used whisper white and very vanilla card stock.

Use the tag punch to make your label and round the edges of the card to give it a nice finish.

Pick out the sentiment you would like, this time I used “I just love you” stamp into the versa mark ink and stand along the top of the label, sprinkle the embossing powder and move it around the label to ensure you cover all of the ink. Tip off the excess, and use a brush to remove any that is stuck to places it shouldn’t be. Then use your heat gun and watch the magic happen.

Using the big shot, use the medium sized flower die and punch out the embellishment.

Using the tombow glue, stick the embellishment to the label.

Measure 15cms of gold ribbon and thread this through the hole in the tag and back though itself.

Pick out 8 gold metallic sequins and stick into the centre of the flowers using the tombow glue again. Leave to dry for a few minutes.

I REALLY HOPE YOU LOVE IT AS MUCH AS I DO!

Pop over again soon
