This is the thirtieth and final project in the “Petal Palette Showcase” which shows you a different project every day for the month of June using only the Petal Palette Stamp Set & Petals & More Thinlits.

Day 30

Using your trimmer I measured 6.5″ x 4.5″ of Merry Merlot card stock & 6″ x 4″ of Very Vanilla card stock.

I then cut out 5 of the medium flower bundle from the thinlits, and 5 of the smaller flower bundle using the big shot in ver vanilla. once you have cut them out, take your time to place them on the very vanilla card stock – Play with them until your happy with the layout – its a bit fiddly but completely worth it. Once your happy, stick down using tombow glue.

Then punch out a 2.5″ circle out of merry merlot. Stamp the sentiment “Some things are just meant to be, like the two of you together” into the circle with versa mark, shake on gold embossing powder, and shake it off, then use the heat gun and watch the magic happen!

I then applied tombow in a z shape on the back of the circle, and applied ribbon to the glue, leaving it to go over the edges so you can see it when you turn it over. Use 2 dimensionals to stick the circle to the bottom left of the card.

Pick out the middle of one flower per bundle, and apply some tombow, then place a gold metallic sequin to the glue.

once everything is dried, stick your main card to the merry merlot mat, and then stick that to your main card.

A perfect project for the finale! PHEWEEEE! That was a challenge and a half!

I REALLY HOPE YOU LOVE IT AS MUCH AS I DO!

I had a ready made card and envelope and stamped directly onto the card.

Firstly I stamped the spotty band in Night Of Navy, I stamped onto a scrap piece of paper before stamping onto the card so that it wasn’t so bold.

Then I stamped “Congratulations” in basic grey just above the spotty banner.

I then stamped the flowers along the top of the card, slightly rotate the stamp as you go along.

I stamped a bird onto whisper white, and cut it out using the big shot.

Then I started to colour in using the blender pens. The breast of the bird I coloured in, in So Saffron, the rest in night of navy. The flowers I coloured in, in night of navy, and the leaves in mossy meadow.

I used a dimensional to attach the bird along the spotty band.

This is the twenty eighth project in the “Petal Palette Showcase” which shows you a different project every day for the month of June using only the Petal Palette Stamp Set & Petals & More Thinlits.

Day 28

I used the beautiful, delightfully detailed notecards and envelopes for this projects they have a water coloured effect already on them, so they are pretty on their own.

Onto Very Vanilla card stock, stamp one bird in Mint Macaron ink, and another in berry burst.

I used the big shot to cut out the birds as well as the leafy bundle and Celtic banner in the share what you love designer series paper, I used the berry burst coloured pattern and the mint macaron coloured pattern. I then used the banner die to cut out of plain very vanilla.

I then stamped “I just love you” onto the banners I had cut out, one in mint macaron and one in berry burst.

Now for assembly. Using tombow glue, stick the leafy cut out on the top centre of the card, then the Celtic banner across the bottom, you will need to trim a little bit off so that it fits onto the card properly.

Then using dimensionals, stick the bird into the leaves so that he looks like he is sitting in a tree and the banner over lapping the Celtic banner.

Absolutely stunning!

I had a spare envelope, so I cut a piece of calypso coral card to fit that envelope and then decorated it.

Will need some whisper white card stock, and your going to cut a strip that measures 2″ x 7 and a little bit” you will also need to punch out a 2.5″ circle.

Now for the stamping – onto whisper white and with calypso coral stamp a bird together with 3 mini individual flowers, stamp a further 2 mini flowers in grapefruit grove. Stamp “some things are just meant to be, like the 2 of you together” onto the circle, and then onto the strip you cut out early, use the long flower to stamp you own designer series paper.

Then use the big shot to cut out the birds and the flowers.

Using snail adhesive stick the stamped strip of whisper white onto you card horizontally. using dimensionals attach your circle, overlapping the strip, and then add the bird to overlap the circle.

Put the flowers in the palm of your hand, and use the other end of the piercing tool to press them into you hand, this technique with push the petals up.

Add 2 glue dots to the top right and top left of the card and one on the bottom right of the card, then stick your flowers to the glue dots, once secure pull this petals up so the are raised. I then used the wink of stellar to add some shimmer to the flowers.

A real favourite!

Day 26 – Petal Palette Showcase – Note Card

This is the twenty sixth project in the “Petal Palette Showcase” which shows you a different project every day for the month of June using only the Petal Palette Stamp Set & Petals & More Thinlits.

Day 26

I used a ready made card and an envelope.

Stamping straight onto the card, I stamped the leafy bundle using crumb cake ink I took the stamp of the edge of the card. I then used the mini individual flower and stamped on top of the leaves in petal pink. to make it look like flowers were growing from the leaves. (Mine measured 4 x 2.5″)

Then cut a strip of wooden textures designer series paper, it doesn’t matter what the dimensions are, I used some pieces that I had spare, it just needs to be big enough to overlap onto the leaves.

I then used some petal pink and silver bakers twine and wrapped it around the piece of wooden paper like it was a parcel, and tied it into a pretty bow. Once you have done that, use a dimensional in each corner and stick this to your card in the centre.

I then used early expresso to stamp the sentiment to the wooden paper.

There you have it, gorgeous!

This is the twenty fifth project in the “Petal Palette Showcase” which shows you a different project every day for the month of June using only the Petal Palette Stamp Set & Petals & More Thinlits.

Day 25

I used a ready made card with its own envelope. I stamped the bird straight onto the card, using basic grey, I stamped this top middle of the card. I then stamped Thank you underneath the bird. I then coloured the bird in with the soft suede Stampin’ Write marker.

I then used a ruler with a soft suede Stampin’ Write marker and drew a border around the edge of the card.

I finished off by adding three bronze sequins to the card using tombow glue.

Such a simple project, but it is simply stunning.

Day 24 – Petal Palette Showcase – Thank You Card

For a full tutorial, head over to my YouTube Channel – even better subscribe so your alerted to the new projects I cover.

This is the twenty fourth project in the “Petal Palette Showcase” which shows you a different project every day for the month of June using only the Petal Palette Stamp Set & Petals & More Thinlits.

Day 24

You need a strip of Bermuda Bay measuring 2″ x 6″ (I had a piece of embossed that I had as scrap) you need the same size piece of card in Whisper White, as well as a 2.5 circle punched out of whisper white.

Stamp the Rose Bundle in basic grey onto whisper white, then stamp “Thank you” and “for everything” onto the circle in Bermuda Bay ink. The leafy bundle needs to be spared in Bermuda Bay onto the strip of whisper white you cur out earlier. When you stamp this, rotate the card so you get a gorgeous pattern.

Use the big shot to cut out the leafy bundle. Once cut out, use the blender pens to colour the flowers in Bermuda Bay ink and the leaves in Granny Apple Green ink.

Then its ready for assembly. Use snail adhesive to stick your white stamped strip of card down first and the Bermuda bay strip in the opposite direction so you create an “X”.

Your then going to put a ‘z” shape of tombow over the 2 strips where your going to apply your ribbon to.

Use dimensionals on the back of the circle and stick it over the ribbon you have just stuck down, the same on the back of the rose bundle and attach it to the circle at a slant.

Add 2 share what you love artisan pearls to the circle and your all finished! Stunning eh?

Day 23 – Petal Palette Showcase – Best Wishes Card

For a full tutorial, head over to my YouTube Channel – even better subscribe so your alerted to the new projects I cover.

This is the twenty third project in the “Petal Palette Showcase” which shows you a different project every day for the month of June using only the Petal Palette Stamp Set & Petals & More Thinlits.

Day 23

The colours I am using are Basic Grey & Blushing bride.

Using your trimmer, cut your blushing bride card stock 4″ x 6″ pink, and your basic grey card stock 4.5″ x 6.5″ this gives you the base of your card and creates a lovely border around the edge.

Using the basic grey ink, and the best wishes stamp, continuously stamp across the pink piece of card, you going to do this all the way across and all the way down. stagger the stamp so that you make a lovely pattern.

Use the email adhesive to stick your pick card to the grey card.

Stamp a little bird using basic grey ink onto blushing bride card stock. Use the big shot and the petals and more thinlits to cut out your bird, you will also need to cut out a Celtic banner in basic grey and a plain banner in whisper white. use the piercing tool to remove the Celtic banner from its die, as it can be a bit tricky.

Onto the whisper white banner, stamp “Best Wishes” in blushing bride.

Cut out a 2″ circle in basic grey and your all ready for assembly.

Using the tombow glue, stick the Celtic banner across the bottom of the card, then with dimensionals, stick a couple of them to the bird attach this to the grey circle, so that the tail overhangs slightly, then stick the circle to the card with dimensionals overlapping the Celtic banner. Then all thats left is the best wishes banner, so 2 more dimensionals one on each end and stick it over the Celtic banner.

Stick it all to a card base and bobs your uncle!

Day 22 – Petal Palette Showcase – Candle & Jar Decorations

For a full tutorial, head over to my YouTube Channel – even better subscribe so your alerted to the new projects I cover.

This is the twentieth project in the “Petal Palette Showcase” which shows you a different project every day for the month of June using only the Petal Palette Stamp Set & Petals & More Thinlits.

IMG_5755

I used the big shot to die cut the little flower x 5, one of the smaller flower bundle and then one of the larger flower bundle, and I cut this out of the the garden impressions designer series paper. I cut out a banner in plain berry burst card stock.

If you press the little flowers into the palm of you hand with the wrong end of your piercing tool, this technique lifts the petal up and adds dimension to the flowers. I then added glitter enamel dots to the centre of the flowers, to make it look like the centre of the flowers.

I then stamped “Thank you” in berry burst onto the banner we cut out earlier. I then put a hole into the banner using the trio punch.

Take the lid off the candle, I then wrapped 30cms of the 1/8″ silver ribbon around the neck of the candle,  I measured 40cms of the silver bakers twine and threaded that through the leaves of the cut out embellishments we cut out, then the thank you banner, and then wrapped that around the neck of the jar and tied in a pretty little bow.

I cut out a 2″ circle in berry burst, I stuck this to the lid using 2 dimensionals. then added 5 glue dots in random positions to stick my mini flowers to, lifted up the petals again to make them stand up.

Day 21 – Petal Palette Showcase – Gift Card Holders

For a full tutorial, head over to my YouTube Channel – even better subscribe so your alerted to the new projects I cover.

This is the twentieth project in the “Petal Palette Showcase” which shows you a different project every day for the month of June using only the Petal Palette Stamp Set & Petals & More Thinlits.

IMG_5750

This project was inspired by Kaye at papercraftskies.co.uk, I am using the Garden Impressions designer series paper, and the paper you need measures 6″ x 4″ and then I scored along the short edge, 1/2″ and 3 and 1/2″ along the long edge, score at 2. Fold across the short side. the 2 long rectangles that you have scored need to be cut out. Take a wedge out of the flaps so that when you fold it over, the paper sits flush.

Glue to flaps with tombow glue, fold and stick.

On the top of the tag, to make it look like a luggage tag, singly grid paper I have just measured 3 squared and marked it with a pencil, along the top and down the side. use you scissors, cut the corners off between the 2 pencil marks you have just made.

I then used the trio punch to make a hole for my ribbon along the top, between the 2 corners you have just cut out.

For the sentiment, I punched out a 2 and 1/2″ circle in calypso coral and a 2″ circle in whisper white, and I stamped “Life is so much better with you in it” onto the 2″ circle in calypso coral ink.

Stick the circles on top of each other using dimensionals, and then stick it to the front flap of the tag, with another couple of dimensionals.

I added a couple of embellishments from the Best route enamel shapes, to the circle I had stamped onto.

Add the accenting ribbon, I measured 15cms which is a nice length to pull it through itself.

I REALLY HOPE YOU LOVE IT AS MUCH AS I DO!
